Strategic Direction

The overarching goals and mandates of the ILHE can be achieved by following this strategic direction:

  1. Facilitate continuous training programs to improve pedagogical practices impacting students’ learning experiences positively.
  2. Engage with relevant units to promote the culture of knowledge-building communities for enhancing professional development, teaching, advising and management skills.
  3. Support the development of innovative and word-class teaching methodologies and adequate use of cutting-edge education technologies.
  4. Provide teaching excellence grant to strengthen the evidence-based and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Informed pedagogical practices.
  5. Create resource-sharing platforms, knowledge, and experience transfer by establishing collaboration and partnership with leading institutions across the globe.
  6. Lead the process for transforming course development, teaching methodologies, and students’ learning experience using contemporary principles and innovative strategies.
